A Bunch of Triangles

A Bunch of Triangles

“What were you thinking?”

I blushed. “It was an art project, sir.”

“Art? What about the Prime Directive? We do not interfere with cultures that haven’t made extraterrestrial contact.”

“It was just a bunch of triangles . . .”

“Yeah, 500-foot-tall triangles! That’s not going to go unnoticed!”

“It was mostly in one desert part though—”

“Mostly? How many did you make anyway?”

“A few . . . hundred.”

“Well, now you gotta fix this. Get down there. Pick any justification you want, as long as no one thinks of space aliens. Go become their king for all I care. You got that, Mr. Faro?”

  1. I realize this is pure fiction except, I can see you David easily making 100 triangles. 🙂

      2. Yes, we had a lot of Legos and would build as much as we could with them.

    1. Yeah, really. Of course, that’s what’s always bothered me about the ancient aliens theories, that they think humans aren’t capable of these monuments, so it must be aliens. Kind of sells humanity short.

Mr. Faro has a lot to answer for, doesn’t he? 😉 Love this take and the Star Trek reference. 😀
