The Flame that Burns on in the Darkness

Flame wars were harder after the Internet disappeared.

James pulled the paper off the raven’s leg. “Ur a idiot and ur political ideas r stupid!” he read.

James growled and grabbed some paper. “takes 1 to no 1,” he wrote and attached it to the bird’s leg. He needed a picture to really send home the insult. He looked at his woodcuts and attached one of a man flashing his butt.

The raven screeched. Attachment too large. He found a smaller one of a leering goblin and the bird flapped wearily away.

Take that, whoever was on the other end.

I saw this picture and thought of a raven tower and it went from there.

  2. Ravens, what a great choice. You see those talons that short of an eagle’s are very impressive.

I hate big attachments too, so I get his reluctance. 🙂

I saw a meme on FB showing a woman in 19th century apparel writing a letter. The comment below is “Before Social Media.” The woman begins her letter, “Dear B*tch…”

Good to know that we have reached a point where we can’t unlearn the behaviour the internet has awoken within humanity! 🙂
