I don’t know about you, but this summer seems to be going fast. It seemed like it was just May and now it will be August in a few weeks.

They say time flies when you’re having fun, but there are many reasons why time might seem to go slower or faster. Sometimes a year goes by in a blink of an eye or an hour seems to take years to finish. Of course, in fiction we can condense or expand the passage of time as we wish in our storytelling, depending on what is going on. Which brings us to this week’s prompt:

Story Prompt: July 18, 2022

Write a story that takes place in less than fifteen seconds.
