Happy Monday on this last day of February. I hope you had a good weekend.
One fun part of writing from a prompt is thinking of how you can take it in an unexpected direction. For example, the prompt on January 10, 2022 was “The world ended on a Friday, which was a surprise.” The obvious story is one about the world being destroyed, but one writer wrote about the birth of a baby brother.
This week’s prompt is the first line:
His name was Kirk and he was imaginary.
What is the first thing that comes to mind? For me, it’s a story about an imaginary friend. You can write a story about that, but you don’t have to. Let your mind wander and think of how else this might be interpreted. The only limit is your imagination.
If you write a story and want to share it, you can submit it at this link or email it to info@greenwalledtreehouse.com. Or, if you post it on your own site, send me the link.

Have a wonderful week. Stay safe.
The only limit is your imagination. 🙂

I always love your graphics, how well they represent the week’s prompt. this is a great one. Reminds me of Lara Croft Tomb Raider with a pinch of Princess Leia tossed in. You’re very, very talented my friend, kinda sums up my point. 🙂
