I’m just getting back from a trip, which is why I haven’t been posting lately. I was going to schedule posts while I was gone, but…oh well.

Normally, in October I like to do prompts about scary stories since it’s that type of season. There are a lot of things that could be scary, depending on the person but there are some constants: pain, death, disease, the unknown. Another constant is being pursued. A pursuit can be fast-paced, but doesn’t have to be. In the movie It Follows, the being who pursues the characters is very slow. The terror comes from the relentlessness of the pursuit (and, of course, what happens when they catch them).
