Death Mill
“It roars through, same time every afternoon, on these metal rails. No one knows from where or to where.”
“They’ve got to lead somewhere. You could follow them.”
“I tried! Walked for, like, an hour. Still going. What’s important, though, it’s great for milling wheat. You put the wheat all along the rails with long troughs underneath to catch the flour. Then the thing does all the work instantly! I call it . . . the death mill!”
“I’ll bet if we could get on it somehow, we could travel really fast.”
“Ride the death mill? It grinds flour, Gary, isn’t that enough?”

I think this is a FF. If so, nice Rochelle used your photo. Only you would combine wheat with train travel, always practical. Of course my toast this morning will have a new spin. 🙂

It might also have some oil mixed in with it if you use this method of grinding wheat :). I guess this guy has thought of something to avoid that.

I would never have thought of milling wheat on a train track. I would think it would be difficult to gather the product. Imaginative story in any event.
