Normally for Muse on Monday, we give you a general topic or challenge to write a story around. However, this week’s prompt is what I call a super-specific one.
Story Prompt: September 9, 2024
Write a story where the main character is running a business whose only employees are monkeys.
It’s kind of a silly premise but the tone is up to you, whether it’s serious, silly or dark. I would love to hear from you if you write a story for this prompt. What a great premise. Really. You probably don’t remember the TV show starring the late Peggy Cass and three chimps as her costars. It was a big hit.
They are so smart and funny. I think today’s MUSE would be a really fun one to write.
Imagine having a monkey as a mate. You wake up next ro him clad in striped pajamas. “Honey, I think you might need a shave.” 🙂
