It is interesting, although not surprising, that one of the most common professions of characters in stories is a writer. This is because writers often write about what they know, which is themselves and what they do.
Beyond that, there are also many stories about writing itself, either about magical books or story itself (see The Neverending Story, The Land of Stories, Sophie’s World or the movie Stranger Than Fiction.) This week, make up a story either about a writer, or about story as a concept, or something related.

Yes, so many writers narrate stories. I’m reading a novel now called White Collar Girl who’s a journalist in 1955 when women were not allowed to cover hard news. Weddings, flower shows, but never something with gravitas. So interesting that this is today’s theme.
