Happy Monday everyone and if you are in the United States, Happy Martin Luther King Day.

This holiday is on a Monday, which means if you are lucky to get the day off, you get a long weekend. Personally, I usually don’t do anything special on a long weekend, but it is a good chance to go on a small trip or do something that you couldn’t do on a normal weekend.

Story Prompt: January 15, 2024

Write a story about some long weekend plans.

Since this is a story and stories need conflict, something probably goes wrong with the plans. How it goes wrong is totally up to you. Of course the conflict could be in something else as well. Or everywhere at once. Go ahead and wreak some havoc in your fictional world.
