You Can’t Miss It

“Stop! That’s the one.”

“He said it had a green door.”

“That is green.”

“You sure? Looks yellow. I think it’s just a greenish light.”

“Well, he said it’s the house with the green door, said we couldn’t miss it.”

“You wanna go knock?”

“Go up and ask if this is the house where we’re supposed to deliver the very illegal cargo? Sure, go ahead.”

“You wanna look for a greener door?”

“What if we find one? Are we going to compare paint swatches?”

“Just text and ask for a house number.”

“He replied. Green door. You can’t miss it.

So drive the length of the street and see which is the greenest (if in doubt, of course). Either way, there will be trouble ahead!

They’re going to have to make a decision. Or keep bothering ‘him’ until he gets more specific. Good story, very funny.

As someone with a red-green deficiency, it’s a good job I’m not in that line of business. Good one.

  6. Dear David,

There’s green and then there’s green. A street number might have been a better idea. Never tell me I can’t miss it. 😉

It sounds like they’re in a pickle to me…a green one! And they’ll be marinating in trouble. I love the dialogue, they don’t want to get the wrong green door. Nicely done!
