Brand Association

It’s Friday night and I’ve got a couple of irons in the fire. Three, in fact.
There’s Double H. He’s with the Hanson and Hudson Ranch, just over the hill. He’s seen his share of bulls and heifers. He’s from the wild west if you believe him, but his memory might be going too.
Then there’s Hooked Y, from the Yellow Sage Ranch. That’s owed by a group in Dallas somewhere, but Hooked Y is okay. He still tells that one story of the time he marked 200 cows in a single day. He definitely makes an impression on anyone he comes in contact with.
The last one is Crazy R. He’s a bit rusty since he hasn’t been used in about 60 years. He was sold to an antique shop and hung out in various barns and theme restaurants for the longest time. He’s trying to get back into the game now.
In general, they’re all cool dudes, but things can get heated pretty quick. You just gotta know how to handle them and you’ll be okay.

This is just a silly little piece I wrote for the daily prompt. I like to reinterpret the meaning of them sometimes. It’s fun to look at the world from a slightly different perspective.
Yes, and your perspective is always so inspiring.

I was able to respond directly on your site. But it’s still showing up here too. Go figure, Those cyber fairies are at work. 🙂
