Have you ever noticed how there is a higher proportion of stories about writers than other jobs? That’s because writers tend to write about what they know and what they know is writers. However, there are a lot of other jobs with interesting stories out there. Just talk to someone in tech support, for example, and they will give you hours of weird and funny calls they’ve had (I should know). The same goes for really any job, especially those that work with people a lot.
Story Prompt: September 19, 2022
Write a story about daily life in a profession you don’t know.
This will take some research, ideally talking to someone in that profession. You might be surprised at the stories you can find if you ask.
If you want to share your story, you can either email me at email@example.com or submit it at the link here. I’d love to publish your story as well.

This is an interesting premise. I’d love to interview the driver/valet/cook who works for a rich man I know. He’s Filipino and has the sweetest disposition despite taking orders right and left. I have an image of a blast that will one day come, like an oil well or geyser. Must be tough jumping through hoops, but then again, maybe not. Who Knows. Love the graphic as usual.
