It’s a new month and a new chance to do things differently. It’s a good idea to look at things in a different way, if only to see how you could improve things. This is a valuable skill for writers. If we only look at life from one perspective, we are missing so many other stories. For example, you could write a war story from the perspective of a civilian caught in the crossfire instead of from the soldiers’ point of view; write about a forest as if it were a city, or a city as if it were a forest. Write about an alien invasion from the perspective of an Arctic fisherman, or the aliens.
