There seems to be a hidden divide, at least in my culture, between coffee and tea people. Not that there is any fighting, but people generally prefer one over the other (I like both, but I am definitely a coffee person). Then there are those special cases who only drink hot chocolate or something else.
Nevertheless, everyone seems to like a hot drink, at least sometimes. Both coffee and tea have been huge cultural influences and still are. So this week, I want you to write a story about a hot drink, take your choice.
It could be about people drinking them, or preparing them, or a mystical version of one, or anything else. That’s most of the fun of a writing prompt: to take something general and make it a story only you could write.

The Green-Walled Treehouse 
Well as you know, I’m a coffeeaholic. I’d have an IV in my arm if I could. As I write a cup is steaming on my nightstand. As for tea, I’ve tried to drink it in the afternoons…Peppermint, but it never floats my boat. I’m told green tea is the way to optimal health. I’ll leave you with one word…YUCK!
