If you have ever been lost in the fog, you know how disorienting it can be. It can be a nightmare, although it depends on the context. If a monster is chasing you, or if you are in a foreign city and your ship leaves in an hour, it can cause panic. However, if you are walking with your sweetheart in your own woods, it might be romantic. Try to think of a situation outside the norm.
Story Prompt: April 14, 2025
Write a story about being lost in the fog
If you write a story with this prompt, send me a link to your story on your own site, either in the comments or at info@greenwalledtreehouse.com. You can also submit your story here for a chance to have it published on the site next week.
Happy Pohela Boishakh to anyone from Bangladesh!

An easy one for me since fog is a place I’m comfy in. You can hide within it undetected without make-up in shabby clothes. You’re right. There is something very romantic about haze you can get lost in…kissing, hugging, canoodling anonymously. Yes, much can be written about fog. Love the graphic, as always.
Happy Easter MUSE. Here’s to new beginnings. 🙂

Thank you! Happy Easter to you too. I have always loved fog. Driving in fog isn’t quite as fun but walking in fog is delightful.
