In the Beginning of the Semester
In the beginning of the semester, Tod created Cyberworld. Tod saw that Cyberworld was fine and could get him a B in his capstone course.
Tod made a garden. In the middle he placed the Lending Library of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Then Tod created Mike and Jenny. They were clothed, for the professor would not allow nudity.
One day, the wombat came to Jenny and said, “If you want to be like Tod, read those books.”
But Jenny replied, “Meh, I’m not really into reading.”
Thus did Cyberworld remained unblemished, until Tod shut it down after graduation.

But Jenny replied, “Meh, I’m not really into reading.” We think we need to talk to Jenny and tell her all the books we love. Meh or not.
Love the term, Cyberworld. You see it, like an additional planet next to Pluto. Great photo by Dale.

Dear David,
What a delightful piece. It seems that Tod and his creation Jenny have their sights set low. Only a B. Why not an A? At any rate, Jenny is probably happy since ignorance is bliss. As always, quirky, fun and well done.
Shalom,
Rochelle

Love the quirkiness of this one, David. Jenny was smart and resisted temptation!

haha, fantastic. It sounds like Tod has passed his lack of ambition onto his creations. Maybe not such a bad thing though.

I’d be interested in what he’s doing now. Nothing too threatening, I hope.

It took me a couple of reads to “get” this, but I’m glad I did. Cute story.

An unblemished Cyberworld would be so boring. I think the wombat approached the wrong partner. Males of the species, IMO is more prone to temptation 🙂 Fun reading with a Biblical twist.

And Jenny asked “which books do I read if I not want to be like Tod?” 🙂

Nothing like trying to leave a clever comment and including a typo.
