This is the busies time of the year in my office since we have new university students arriving from all over the world, so that’s why I did not post anything last week.
For the summer, Muse on Monday writing prompts are a combination of a theme and a genre. Here is the prompt for this week.
Story Prompt: August 14, 2023
Theme: Death
Genre: Comedy
Death is not a funny topic, but that is where the challenge comes in. You could write a dark comedy, which makes jokes about things we don’t usually consider funny, or a satire, which is something funny that is written in a serious tone. There are other options too.

I love the graphic…how cute are they. Death and comedy. WOW!!! Like cracking your scull slipping on a banana peel.
I do remember a story about my dad who had a slight drinking problem. My uncle died, and after work he went to pay his respects at the funeral home. When he got there he felt so bad since, he said, Danny looked nothing like himself. That was because he went to the wrong room and the poor man who was mistaken for Danny, was bald. True story. 🙂
